Mindy Weisel on Jewish Achievement Blog.com!

Mindy Weisel is an internationally acclaimed artist & author. Her paintings are displayed in major collections around the world, including the Smithsonian, the Hirshhorn Museum and Sculpture Garden, the National Museum of American Art, Yale University, the Israel Museum and the United States Capitol. Weisel is also an active participant in the U.S. State Department’s “Art in Embassies” program. Her art has also been featured in more than 22 one-person exhibitions, and been reviewed in The New York Times, The Washington Post, USA Today and ART News.

In this, the first of our series of Jewish Achievement video case studies, Jewish Achievement reporter Kandie Stroud interviews internationally acclaimed artist Mindy Weisel, who discusses the ‘survival of beauty’ and how her art derives from her background as the daughter of Holocaust survivors.
